Volunteer

Outdoors, indoors, with people or on your own, there are plenty of ways to make positive change.

Tell us what you’d like to do

The Conservancy is led by volunteers. People help outdoors, at community events, around meeting tables and from home. Some roles need experience, while many begin with curiosity and a willingness to learn.

Our needs change with the seasons and the projects underway. Even if there is no matching role posted today, you are welcome to tell us what interests you and how much time you would like to contribute to begin.

Many ways to help and learn.

Work Parties

From time to time, volunteers help with trail care, invasive-species work, planting, site preparation or other tasks.

Monitoring and Community Science

Some projects invite careful observers to record species, habitat conditions or changes through time. The required experience and training depend on the project.

Events and community learning

A public walk, talk, AGM or contest may need help with planning, setup, welcoming participants, photography or follow-up.
